About

Different by Design Coaching
You were never meant to fit into a box. You think differently, feel deeply, and see the world in ways that aren’t always understood — and that’s exactly where your strengths live.
At Different by Design Coaching, I help teens and young adults embrace their unique wiring, build practical tools that actually work for their brain, and grow into the confident, capable, grounded humans they’re becoming. Coaching here feels calm, collaborative, and hopeful — no pressure, no shame.
Just a space to breathe, explore, and move forward in ways that are doable.

Who we support
Teens & young adults (approx. 15–24): wanting strategies that fit their brain, not someone else’s expectations.
Parents & carers: seeking to support without rescuing, strengthen relationships, and create a calmer home rhythm.

What changes with Coaching
Using my signature Compass Model™, we grow:
• Confidence | inner belief, self-advocacy, and emotional safety.
• Clarity | values, priorities, and next steps.
• Capability | tools for planning, task initiation, regulation, and follow through.
• Consistency | sustainable rhythms that support real life.

Evidence informed, Neurodiversity (ND) affirming
Coaching blends lived experience with evidence-based tools from ADHD, executive functioning, and motivation research. We use what current ND insights tell us about energy, focus, dopamine, cognitive load, and sensory needs to design supports that feel natural, not forced.

Different by Design Coaching
Supporting teens and young adults to understand their brain, honour their strengths, and build a life that works for them.

Coaching has helped me feel more in control of my life, and the goings on around me. It has helped me become more self-aware of what needs to change and what needs to be uplifted. Coaching has enabled me to stay focused and motivated on improving my lifestyle.
Case Narrative 1
I found these five sessions to be highly productive and helpful in my day-to-day life. I was able to focus on what I needed and what I wanted to achieve in the sessions. I feel that working towards something changed my mind set on how to live daily life.
Case Narrative 2
As a parent, the need for such a service for our teenagers and their friendship circle is evident, especially in the Macedon Ranges, as it supports a region that doesn't have the readily available resources of a big metropolitan city like Melbourne or regional centres like Bendigo or Ballarat.
